NOCTURNAL POLYURIA

I have the urination issue of peeing volumes whenever I fall asleep, even if its noon and for 30 seconds. I had renal stents installed last June 2025 and for four months prior, I was taking BP meds that started this nightmare. Im no longer on the meds but the urinating is the same. My life has been a nightmare since.

Do you suffer from Obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA)? Sleep apnoea causes Nocturnal Polyuria (NP) due to increased secretion of atrial natriuretic peptide, which induces a natriuresis. First step should be that you talk to your doctor about this possibility.
