New To Living With Long Term Covid
Hello, my name is Pam. I'm 55 years old and learning to live with Long Term Covid. My husband and I both got Covid in December 2022. He recovered well, but I've been struggling with many issues; shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle weakness, foggy brain, etc. My next step is to see a pulmonary physician. Any advice would be appreciated.

nad+ injection helped me a lot with fatigue.
For me, one of the hardest things to come to terms with was the fact that the symptoms weren't going away. Before Covid, I was very healthy. So, this is new territory for me. I'm finding that this is actually new territory for the medical field as well. We're all learning together.
Be patient with your body, and try not to compare old you with post covid you. Be glad for what you can do, even if it’s just 2 minutes of vacuuming. I still can’t do that. I have to sit down with hand held and only can do a 2 to 3 foot square area. Walk when you can, rest when you need to, and if your body says stop.. listen. It’s a lot harder to overdo and recover than to stop.
Also, you are not alone. Many of us are still struggling a year or more later.
Thanks so much for your kindness and good advice. Everything you've said is so true. All the best to you on this journey.
That's my story too... Long Covid since last summer.
But I am learning so much from these comments. I have to keep some hope.
Hope is key! Listen, everyone experiences their symptoms
in a different way. Use this forum to glean what YOU need, but listen to your own body. I don’t read the comments that say “do this”… (I’ve been just been encouraged that others have my symptoms!) This is a draining journey, but you can learn a lot about Your body— slow waaayyyyy down and learn to listen to it. This isn’t the end… it’s hard, but you can do this. Of course —you can.
I agree with you 100%. At times I get so tired that I need to stop whatever i'm doing and rest. Had Covid Sept. '22 all the shots, and still have the same things happen. Lisaten to your body and keep moving on. All the best to you.
What is nad?
Just a quick update...over the last few days, I've begun to breathe deeper! For so many months it felt like I was beathing so shallow. I've begun to cough alot more than before, which makes me think that the congestion is clearing out. I went to see my doctor today, and she verified that I sound alot better. I'm so happy 😊 I'm going to continue on in this journey in hope and faith! I hope this helps all of you to keep moving forward!
