New to hemmoroids
I just developed an internal hemmoroid. It clearly came from constipation and straining with me. From my research it seems like it’s still grade 1. Nothing is protruding, there is no blood. It does feel like the Last Of Us Fungi is trying to escape my ass though. My question is can this actually get worse from here? Do people usually drop in grade? Does internal ever naturally heal itself or am I looking at bands? I have all the research about fiber and getting off the toilet as fast as possible and all the meds. Any tips, experience or suggestions would be great. I know controlling stress is also probably paramount but this is really making my job life unbearable. Thx.

I have been told by several GIs after colonoscopies that I have internal hemorrhoids. I have had them for years. I guess they have caused discomfort but I guess I have gotten used to it. I would go to the doctor. Sounds like it is effecting your life. Get the information from the doctor, then you can make a decision.
I’m truly relating to your problems with internal hemorrhoids because lately I’m going crazy from the burning sensation almost nonstop. These nasty things came about after pregnancy and also years of constipation, I was sent to a clinic that used a scope and told me I had four, the doctor decided to remove one and I wouldn’t go through that again, I was also awake so it was barbaric to do this, the pain was brutal and the aftermath was painful for days. I still struggle with them on and off but I won’t go through that again. I can’t think of any place in your body that would be tolerable to hurt but this is one place that can drive you crazy if you let it, if you find something that really helps please let me know, thanks. ☺️
How do you know you have internal Hemrrohoids? I didn’t have any symptoms and only found out with my first colonoscopy. I was shocked. No pain, no bleeding….nothing. I did have 1 external hemrrohhoid that that had tortured me. It burst though after becoming thrombosed. (Another story.)
When I got my second colonoscopy, several years later, I had no internal hemorrhoids! The same doctor did it. So….mine went away or became undetectable.
My dad had surgery for internal hemorrhoids many years ago due to bleeding. It was successful and he never had any more problems with them. I think there are more modern treatments now.
Good luck!
