New lump other breast
Three months postop lumpectomy on right for ER+, PR+, HER2- ILC , node negative. Finished 19 sessions of radiation 2 weeks ago. Started tamoxifen this week and everything seems to be going ok then I find a lump in my other breast...has this happened to anyone...I don't want to start this process over, I just finished..

Well I met with radiation oncologist today, she too felt something. She didn't believe it was related to radiation, we pulled up the radiation field picture and radiation did not effect this area. So she reordered the ultrasound...I told her how I was treated the first time & how I felt it wasn't a proper eval...I just need peace of mind!!! So hopefully this time I will get some answers!! Thanks for listening
Thank you for the update! I was worried about you and wondering what was going on. It’s fantastic the radiation person is involved. I agree it’s super frustrating and disgusting that the ultrasound person tried to brush off and minimize your concerns. I am so glad they ordered another US. A CT scan or MRI may also be able to see anything. It confirmed my recurrence on the chest wall right mastectomy side. For my left breast removal that was due to calcification which can turn into cancer. I am glad you’re not letting them off the hook. Push for real answers and proper action. All the best!
