Neuropathy: Anyone have any experience with gabapentin?

i have been taking 900mg a day for years for neuropathy and nerve damage of my spine. it does make me sleepy. i take 300mg in the am and take the rest when i go to bed at nite. i could not survive without it.

I was prescribed and was allergic, broke out in hives.
I now take Rolpinirole. But nothing seems to really work.
To help me sleep I use a foot bathe with Epson salt. Then rub
with Bio Freeze and put socks on.
I also have RLS.

Been taking 600 mg 3 times a day for 13 years. Helps but doesn’t make it go away completely. Good luck to all who are dealing with this.

There’s my meds in top of my (some word that I can’t know, this moment) it’s a place of cold Cokes. So, my Doctor “B”, helps me until the top of my meds… then I get a seizer and go to a hospital, if it is worse if my wife looks if what I’m doing. And Doctor B gives me a little higher if those meds. Thankfully, I am to a point (2x600?x3 times per day) and thankfully that’s been 2.5 years for no seizures. And I add another meds for the safety non-seizures.

You guys use the pain and I use it diffently anti-seizure. The pain meds? No. 2 years ago, I fell down in my garage and hit my butt. I killed my balance and pain - everyday. I can’t do what I I did… even after my TBI… and I loved our cutting grass and loosing my weight when I wot]rhed. Now, my belly fifers a little higher 😔

Bio Freeze? It could free the bottom of the right-leg and keep it everyday, but it’s no pain in-the-bottom-leg… I can’t fell it as much if the rest of parts on my legs… yes, the rest of my legs durns-in main when I walk a little.

It seems the neuropathy battle is one that can't be won. Although my horrible neuropathy pains eventually went away when my condition worsened (nerves dying/dead then causing other problems, numbness, ED and bowel problems.

I am using 1500mg CBD no THC and it has helped also take Dulaxetine an they they feel they work together.
