Has anyone had neuorological issues after Tetanus Diphtheria shot?

Hello everyone,

Did anyone react to TD shot with neurological side effects? As I did not get vaccine since primary school, my deep cut in finger forced me to get the shot. But it caused neuropathy (tinglling at nerves and weakness at legs). Also, my brain was like shaking and inflammation in spinal cord. I had a past neurological reactions to c-section peridural anesthesy and Levaquin usage also. But this vaccine additinally caused brain inflammation on me.

Yes I recently had a flu, Shingles and TD vaccines in one sitting and I’ve had neurological sensations in arm, left side of face, left scalp, left ear skin, neck since. This was one month ago now when I got them.

Can I start by asking how long it has been since your shot?

Thanks Amanda for your reply. I got TD shot at 12th of January and still have occasionally headache on my back head and some balance issue, leg weakness. I found a local neurologist who has expertise and publishing on Tetanos shot side effects like brain damage and coma. Without MRI, with only physical checks he stated there looks no brain damage. I wonder if anyone else got smilar symptoms and whether it is transient.

Thanks Andrea for your reply. I read thimerosal substance was removed from vaccines in some countries, but in my country no. My neuorologist told me any substance (toxoid, aluminium or thimerosal) could have triggered my reaction. Did your symptoms disappear now?
