@summertime
You may want to try contacting Mayo Concierge Services to see if they can provide suggestions. I know in Rochester, there are businesses that provide that service for a fee, not sure about Jacksonville.
You can contact Mayo Concierge at:
https://www.mayoclinic.org/patient-visitor-guide/minnesota/concierge-services
By phone 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday-Friday: 507-538-8438

thanks Again,

Go to your PATIENT PORTAL. If you do not have one create one. I cannot remember where to find how to create an account .. but somewhere on the Mayo Clinic main page it should have info on how to.
Next click on APPOINTMENTS, click on Patient Appointment Guide. Read it carefully.
This is part of it:
Sedation
You may feel fine after your procedure, but you may be affected by the sedation medicine you were given. It can affect judgment and balance. For your safety and the safety of others:
Arrange to have a responsible adult come with you to your procedure and other appointments, pick you up from the procedure unit and drive you home or to the place you are staying.
If you have not made plans for a responsible adult to come with you, your procedure may be delayed or cancelled.
Talk to your healthcare team now if you need help finding an adult companion or transportation.
Use caution and ask for help when you walk and move around.
Do not drive the rest of the day.
Do not travel alone on a plane the rest of the day.
END OF SECTION
From me:
To contact your healthcare team either call the Gastroenterology Department .. you can go through their general number 904-953-2000 and they will redirect you or write a message in the patient portal to your health care team member.
I hope you do not need to reschedule.

thanks for all the recommendations. I will try all , hope to find someone or some organizations who can help me.
Call the office of patient experience at Jacksonville. Don’t settle for anything less no matter what you are told. This is a team of two staff members on site who, pretty much have an understanding of the systems and resources. Now as to your procedures, you will have to certify, and provide name and contact number before your procedure you have someone with you and will be driving you from the facility…. If not, no procedure…. No Ubers, taxis, ride shares, hotel, shuttles, literally someone to take a level of responsibility for you once you leave…. Office of patient experience will be your best bet for help….

Please understand: You have to have someone physically on campus during your procedure. The nurse will ask your driver for their name and
phone number . They will send the driver text on how you are doing and when to go get their vehicle to get to your hotel. The person cannot leave the campus while you are there.
Your best option is for you to arrange a family member or a friend to accompany you. I don’t know your age. If you are elderly .. like me, ugh … your local senior center may can help.
