I like that there is a new approach being tried, to get more cultures done by the experts at NJH.
Is this the pilot that allows a patient free submission of a single sputum sample? How does this compare to the standard protocol of submitting 3 separate samples to reduce the possibility of an accidentally contaminated culture giving a false positive?
