Need a hospital recommendation for recurrent endometrial cancer

Posted by dj12 @dj12, Jun 16 12:44pm

I am currently receiving treatment for recurrent endometrial cancer. I am in Lancaster PA and want a second opinion from a large Cancer institute.
My CA-125 was dropping from 900 to 60 but has jumped back to near 80.
I am on Jemperli and can't take platins anymore because I have had severe reactions.
Thanks for any help.

Thank you for sharing. After a hysterectomy 3 years ago August, I was good for 6 months. Then I felt 2 tumors in my pelvis. Yes, it spread. Chemo + immunotherapy Keytruda and it went away again for ... 6 months, you guessed it.
Now I'm in a 2nd Clinical Trial where I take 2 breast cancer drugs Verzenio & Letrozole. The 1 tumor that came back (in the same spot - right next to my colon) is slowly shrinking. UCLA Westwood has been very good overall.
My question for you is: did you say your cancer is rare? Can you elaborate on what about it is rare? Thank you.
And 1 of the 2 Rx's I mentioned is an araomatase inhibitor because they say the tumor is estrogen based.
I hope this helps.
