Nail issue

Posted by anna17X0X @anna17xox, Jan 11 12:22pm

Hello, part of my nails were scraped off from my nail bed after I roamed my hands in my bag and accidentally got them scraped off by a pointed tip on my key chain. I was wondering if any skin care professionals or dermatologist would know if they will grow back after looking at the picture I affixed to this post.

And also are nail ridges normal in teens because I read an article that said they were common in older adults ages 30-50.I'm about 16 and don't know if this is the normal age to be noticing this

You will heal just fine. There is no trauma to the base of your nail at the cuticle root( matrix).
It should appear normal in 6 weeks as your
nail grows out. Can’t see any unusual longitudinal lines
in that photo. It is OK to use moisturizer on your nail cuticles at night.
