Mysterious illness, the doctors don't know what it is

Hello everyone, something horrible happened to me at the beginning of October 2023 and I still haven't recovered from it. I followed a keto diet and ate only meat and drank very little water because even water started to disgust me from meat.

I started vomiting like crazy and threw up everything I would eat. Then I stopped the diet and went back to normal eating.

But I noticed that my legs were so STIFF as if they were in clamps, as if I had a band around the knee and lower legs that was squeezing me harder and harder. I tried to squat but I couldn't get up from the squat. The next day I could not get up from a sitting position.

I couldn't get up from the toilet. When I went outside, my legs were so weak that I couldn't walk up a single step. I could not cross the threshold. They were stiff and stood as straight as if they were made of wood.

That feeling that my legs were not mine was from my knees. I felt like there was some liquid inside, and the feeling in my legs changed when I touch my leg as if there was something inside.
The stiffness of the upper part of the foot and knees, as well as the stiffness of the lower legs, has lasted for a full 6 months, with the fact that now I can climb the stairs, and for the first 5 months I could not even cross the threshold.

I'm in Serbia and the doctors don't want to help me, they say it will pass it by istelf. I am 32 yeras old.
Swelling around the wrist and inability to move the fingers, stiffness of the roots of the fingers and bridge foot. Impossibility of changing and going down stairs. I had an MRI and I was diagnosed with Synovitis of the foot and ankle.

My rheumatism factor is 95 but ccp is negative. What disease do you think this is besides gout?

My foot was stiff for 6 months and my knees were even worse.

I don't know if it's because I have synovitis, this doesn't seem to go with the swelling? Thank you soo muchhh

Have you researched health issues following strict keto diets? It sounds like you may have caused cardiovascular and kidney/nerve damage.

You also sound like you were dehydrated and and the strict keto diet has caused your body to go out of balance. Have you had blood and urine tests?

Synovitis can be serious and cause permanent nerve damage. How are you being treated for this now?

I had that feeling from my knees down and for now it's only left in my left foot and ankle. the magnetic resonance shows synovitis and my left foot is completely stiff and I can't bend my toes, the roots of my toes are stiff as well as the foot bridge and now I had a gout attack in that foot in October 2023 and since then my symptoms have not gone away . I don't take any medicine. What condition can lead to synovitis?

If I was dehydrated, I had a dry mouth, thick, too-white saliva, and I needed to spit non-stop because my saliva was too thick and I had a lot of mucus. And I threw up. However, as soon as I started eating and drinking normally, these symptoms of dehydration went away the same day. But is it possible that my legs are still stiff after this. I didn't have any problems with my legs before this and then they got stiff like this from the knees down and I got gout and swelling that didn't go away for 6 months. On the magnet, after 6 months of the attack and interruption of the diet, swelling can be seen, i.e. the diagnosis of synovitis. I still have a hard time going down and up the stairs, but much better than in October. In October, I could not climb a single step. Also, I can't stand on my right foot barefoot, only in shoes. What happened to this? Before the diet, I was completely healthy, now I have been semi-disabled for 6 months.

My heart and kidneys are fine, I controlled everything. But my legs completely failed. 6 months since quitting keto I can't recover. I am better than at the beginning, the stiffness in my knees and lower legs has subsided a little, but not completely, but I can function, unlike the first 5 months when I could hardly walk at all. But my foot is still stiff and I have huge swelling or synovitis. My rheumatism factor is 95 but ccp is negative.

What I read is that your high protein diet and little water (possibly dehydration) causes high levels of uric acid which is tied to gout and painful arthritis.

Read more about gout and triggers. It seems like certain medications can help with inflammation and swelling to reduce nerve damage. Also, you should check your diet again to ensure you keep animal proteins, alcohol and sugars low since that triggers gout flares. https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/4755-gout
