@ryan74 I had the same procedure (small incision no tube) 4 days ago and my ear immediately felt full/clogged - worse than before the procedure and the tinnitus I have been experiencing for the past month is much worse. I know I’m only 4 days post procedure but the feeling is so awful I just can’t imagine life like this if I don’t get some relief. Are you feeling any better?

Hi, did the doctors ever figure out after the grommet was installed in lower eardrum why like me 3 months after myringotomy procedure my ear is blocked, lots of pressure, no fluid nor infection and tinnitus? I can’t live like this it’s excruciating

Hi, I'm not the person you were responding to, but let me tall you my experience - I had several myringotomies. After the first one, one tube fell our without my knowledge and the hole closed. As you described the result is painful.
Another time, thick fluid clogged the tube. It was a long time ago, so I don't remember if he put one in with a bigger hole, or use a syringe to clear the ear.
