I am interested in this as well. Two weeks ago I had my spinal cord stimulator removed (battery and wires) after two months of excruciating pain.
Now I’m having pain where the wires were and I’m thinking it’s from the scar tissue that formed.
I was thinking of having myofascial release to treat it. Any success stories out there?

3 Reactions@rwdixon4 Hi Bob, I hope you’re doing well! I have not had myofascial release done, but my therapist has had some training in it and she is digging deep along my surgery line and it has done wonders to help with my nerve pain. My nerve pain is superficial across my back and feels like pinpricks and sensitivity. She is breaking it free and making me feel so much better.
I hope you are doing well! Wishing you the best, Sherry

2 ReactionsHey Sherry, Thanks for checking in. Fusion went well. good to hear you’re therapist is making progress helping you with your nerve pain. I’m have a problems with rotation in my trunk area and I’ve been dealing with blood pressure problems going for an MRI today to see if the rotation has increased and to diagnose a condition called GOO it’s short for GASTRIC OUTLET OBSTRUCTION Caused from Rotation in the thoracic spine. Hoping that’s not the problem?

1 Reaction@calofmichigan May I ask why you had it removed? I have one also and it does not help at all charging is a pain. I just don't use it and I don't want to go thru the surgery to have it removed
The surgery to have it removed was pretty straightforward and easy. I had it removed because it caused me far more pain than not having it, even though my trial went well. Even when I had the battery turned off completely, the wires were painful and quite evident during movement. Also, I wanted the option to have future MRIs if I needed them. The SCS I had didn’t allow for that. I hope that helps. Best of luck.

1 Reaction@calofmichigan yes that was helpful.
Thank you,
Bob
Yes!!! 100% but you have to be willing to kiss some frogs. I found an awesome guy and saw him for 2 years. He worked miracles. Being older if you don't keep it up, the muscles and bones will return to the bad posture. So gotta be willing to keep it up. Medicare pays now through PT and rehab. but don't think its as good as a one hour with a guy who does that only.
