My Daughter, from La Crosse, WI. has a serious health condition and was referred to Mayo Rochester. She has been waiting for 3 months now, for Mayo Rochester to call and schedule an appointment. This is really truly WRONG and should not be happening.

Could you please write more about the health condition that affects your daughter? Have you or your daughter called the Mayo Clinic department where she was referred and asked for more information about an appointment?

@juliaeckert, I'm so sorry to hear that your daughter has a serious illness. I'm glad that she has been referred to Mayo Clinic in Rochester.

She can call the Central Appointment Office to find out the status of her referral.

Did she submit the referral herself or did her primary care physician submit the referral?

It must be hard to wait for an answer to your daughter's problem. I agree with @colleenyoung suggestion to the central appointment desk.

When you mentioned she is in LaCrosse and was referred, was the referral from Mayo Clinic Health System? If so, your daughter could try contacting the referring provider at Mayo LaCrosse to ask about the referral status or whether they can contact Mayo Rochester for assistance.
