My c reactive protein has gone up to a 61 from a 41

I’ve been on prednisone for a year now I’m down to 4 mg discontinued methotrexate and I’m now just using Tylenol and prednisone and I’m in more pain than I was when I started. I have an appointment next week with the doctor, but it doesn’t sound very promising if other people are being denied Kev Zara I was hoping to be on that.

CRP is mostly composed of the key cytokine of inflammation IL-6. If you have your doctor check
the level of interleukin 6 and it very high that would be evidence of Kevzara being the drug of choice for your
flare up.
Much depends on the person behind the scenes doing all the red tape and hoop jumping to get you approved.
Sometimes if you have reasonable insurance a specialty
pharmacist at a med center or clinic can make all the difference advocating for you. Don’t give up easily and persist.

Also….OTC Tylenol for Arthritis 2 upto 3x a day, per my Dr.
