My body just stops moving

Posted by keynos66 @keynos66, Nov 14 12:12pm

I go to a craft show every year. Well a couple yrs ago I went with my friends and was only able to make it 1/2 way through the arena. My sister had to get me a wheelchair & push me the 2nd half of the place. I get so tired & my body just completely shuts down. I cannot move another muscle in my body. I have to sit or lay down. Then I pay for it the next day as well. Does this happen to anyone else?

Yes it does so i know exactly how you feel. I was stood still for a while yesterday evening and when i woke up this morning my ankles and legs were throbbing like hell. Its still throbbing now and its 6.30 pm UK time. I have taken two lots of pain killers and will have a warm soak soon then take my night relief tonight so i totally know how you feel. I have had this for three years and was told i will have this for the rest of my life.

I have had fibro for many years. What you are describing, I call "hitting a wall". I get to a point, where my body just says "NO". When I lived in Fl. I felt much better. I actually felt I was in remission. Moving back to Oregon with colder, wet weather, it has gotten worse. I now use a heating pad at night, and take Tylenol during the day. A low dose of klonopin has helped with sleep issues. If you drive, you can get a handicap pass for your car through your doctor.
