My 34 Daughter Symptoms
My Daughter is in the hospital for the following symptoms she described:
"I feel like my chest is getting crush ,
my neck, I get this shock sensation down my spine up my neck"
She also said experience numbness on rightside of face.
One doctor mentioned it's partly a legion. We are in the surrounding areas of Texas if anyone may recommend a good Dr.

Has the hospital ordered an MRI of the cervical neck? noting lesions? Vertebra or disc problems can cause both symptoms.

2 ReactionsI would also recommend a cervical spinal MRI with contrast. I had similar symptoms 30 years ago and was diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis. The electric shock feeling is called l'Hermittes sign. It is common in spinal cord lesions.

3 ReactionsPush to eliminate stroke. Dont dismiss it. You are now an advocate for your daughter. Pursue! My own 34 year old was a victim of poor medicine practice by top top drs. Now she’s terminal. Your daughter may only have a simple spine issue but crushing chest is suspicious.

1 ReactionThis is almost certain to be either a nerve issue or a vascular issue, maybe both. I agree that a spinal tap (maybe...not an expert here), or imaging with contrast will reveal the problem. Could be a stenosis, collapsed vertebra, displaced pad (can't think of the proper term here...sheesh!!) disk! Could be meningitis, although that would have been found out early via blood labs, and it would be a lot worse already. Could just be a virus.
