Muscle Cramps on Apixaban

I was diagnosed with bilateral sub segmental PE and placed on Apixaban after 24 hours before of heprin. I’ve started getting odd muscle spasms and cramps on my legs, abdomen, and pectoral muscles. Is this to be expected while adjusting to the thinner or something of concern?

You are going through a tough process. Are you in a position to be able to call the doctor that prescribed this for you?
