Más de 10 años tomando hidroxiurea para TE.

Good morning! @vivoconte After doing a quick search through the conversations in Connect for long term hydroxyurea users, I’ve seen references to long term use but not sure of their actual time in years. I’m fairly sure there are members who have taken HU for at least 10 years so I hope they pop into the conversation.

It was hard to locate specific years but I did find @leene808 who has been using HU since 1992. That’s 34 years! Here’s her comment containing that information from earlier this month. @leene808 https://connect.mayoclinic.org/comment/1499715/

You’ve been taking hydroxyurea for 10 years and interested in learning about side effects others have experienced. Are you having symptoms that you feel are associated with the HU?
