MRSA success stories… anyone care to share?

Hi. Very interesting to read all of these problems and hope everyone get better soon. My issue is a bit different. I have a staph infection that has been with me for more than 3 years. I have had 2 revision knee replacements, 6-8 weeks of IV antibiotics ( vicomiacin) twice, and a wash out of the knee. When it was washed out i needed to replace a portion of the prosthesis with a spacer due to the deteriorating bone and face another knee surgery in a few weeks. BUT THIS IS MY QUESTION: with all the fluid taken from the knee nothing but staph shows and nothing grows. So how do we treat this infection . So far nothing has worked. Has anyone experienced this.
