MRI after continued neurological symptoms post Laminectomy L3-L5

I am two months post op Laminectomy and Radiculopathy L3,L4 and L4,L5. Lower back pain has improved but neuropathy has changed and even worsened in one leg and foot. Is follow up imaging warranted or is this way too early to be concerned about this. Doc recently prescribed a Medrol Pak of methylPREDNISolone 4 MG. This has had a very favorable effects on overall arthritic type symptoms but little else at this point.
