Moron Furosemide doesn't work.

This 91 year old with stage D CHF is looking for someone who's had experience with Bumex or one of the other "strong" diuretics.
My card is trying to get me to go to the ER and I think that would be the end of the road for me. I know I'm going but not right now, please.
Would Mayo perform a mitral valve replacement on someone my age?

Mayo Clinic probably wouldn't do a valve replacement at your age. They turned me down to fix tricuspid repair so I had it done at St Luke's Kansas City. Great doctors and surgeons there w lots of research and trials ongoing. My Mayo cardiologist recommended Kansas City. Grateful he did.

Furosemide works for me through my port directly into my bloodstream otherwise the otal became ineffective over time.
