Mild TBI approx 2 weeks ago. - Still major gut symptoms

Hello, I hit my head after fainting two weeks ago from food poisoning. My symptoms from the food poisoning has subsided, however i have had intermittent headaches, upset stomach, diarrhea, and major nausea since hitting my head. I was wondering how long these symptoms could last? My doctor didn't give me an actual timeline

Well i can sympathize with you. Have had recent food poisoning my fault even and knew better but after my brain surgery's and healing over the last two years i still on occasion forget, that is because of short term memory issues, anyway back on tract-everybody's body reacts different and mine took me almost a month to get back into normal ranges of gut pain and cramps and hope you don't have to wait that long. i have known one case the food poisoning was so severe that recovery and return to strength he lost took 6 months and believe in my opinion that he never fully recovered. take it easy and let the body recover. have a blessed day.
