Migraine pain relief with CBD

Hello, has anyone had success with CBD (no THC) for migraine pain relief? I have relentless migraines, in many ways/shapes/forms every day. Because of heart disease I can not take the triptans, which I believe, are the first line of defense for pain and effective. I can only take the CGRPs which are ineffective for me...& can not take NSAIDs either (Advil, Motrin, Aleve, etc.) for the same reason as it is reported such medications in someone like me can cause a heart attack.
There are so many CBDs on the market it's overwhelming. Which ones are best?

CBD alone has no effect on pain. I have chronic pain from 4 different conditions, it’s never helped.

I'm like you. No NSAIDS. CGRP....tried them all including IV vyepti. I use Fiorcet with codeine. Tried CBC/THC s at night helps me sleep. .akes me dizzy
Does not take migraine away. I use lots of Ice in my life. Good luck.

The only true CBD will have a THC component. The CBD you can buy in stores is not real CBD. I don’t think CBD is a game changer regarding pain but it will help you relax which in turn help with your migraines.

Have you tried a Sphenopalentine Ganglion nerve block? It is a very simple procedure and has relieved migraine, facial pain ,and trigeminal neuralgia symptoms for me.

No, and don’t know what that is.
I will look it up but can you explain it a bit?
Thank you!

They get 2 very long q tips and put a couple of numbing agents on them and stick them up your nose until they reach your Sphenopalentine Ganglion nerve. They leave it in for about 30 minutes and then you're good to go. Some people self administer them ,it's thst easy.

Too many nay sayers in my opinion. I experimented for over a year with different THC:CBD ratios. I found that higher CBD and lower THC works to relieve my breakthrough pain, which has allowed me to stop needing oxycodone. My CBD is from MedTerra and not from dispensaries. I buy my THC from dispensaries. I take 100mg CBD tincture 4x day and 25mg THC tincture 4x day. I agree cannabis alone does not relieve enough acute pain to be beneficial. I learned that it takes at least 3 months to gain effect.

The original poster said nothing about THC. CBD alone will do nothing for pain.
