MGUS & Rash

Posted by samraz @samraz, Feb 22, 2023

Hi everyone, I got diagnosed with MGUS last month with my GP and still waiting to see Hematologist.

I have also got some rash in my body that is not itchy but haven't gone for last 6 weeks. I am going to see dermatologist tomorrow, but I want to know if these rashes are related to MGUS or cancer? I live in Canada, so it means I have to wait until specialist see me.

hels I'm glad your going to dermatologist. My Hematologist wants me to go to dermatologist because they don't deal with rashes (I have cold induce urticaria / rashes ) 9 rare disease including PPV-FM ; symptoms over lap or interfere with other symptoms "making harder to know what is what" There is specialist for everything; only treat that one of my symptoms, which can be frustrating! Wish we had doctor for everything and go once but Good luck and take care - let us know and keep us up-dated hels | @hels hope you find answers

Recently diagnosed with CLL. Have had a severe rash on lower legs for 6+ months...itchy and scaly. Hematologist is not sure it is related to CLL and dermatologist biopsy was inconclusive. Has anyone else with CLL experienced this.

Hi I have been diagnosed with CLL now since 2020 and get severe itchy skin and rash and the only thing that I use to control it is an antihistamine which i buy over the counter called Cetrine and it works extremely well.
I was taking one a day now I can stretch it out to maybe one every three or four days.

I do not have CLL, but had a rash for 9 months that sounded identical to yours. After trying several different things, my dermatologist ordered low dose Naltrexone. It cleared up completely in 2-3 days!

Hello:
I’ve had a terrible rash on my arms and legs for over six months. That’s how I was diagnosed with MGUS. My dermatologist suspected a kidney ailment. Then my kidney doctor suspected cancer.
