MGUS and Susceptibility to infection

I'm a teacher for special education in two small elementary schools (ages 7-13). I've 12 years left to retired. Asthma, Bronchodilation and MGUS cause susceptibility to infection to all kind of viruses. After normal flu I'll be very sick and get different kind of sequela. Is the some medicals facts or journals of connection with MGUS and susceptibility to illness? Yesterday I was at the doctor's and she didn't know any evidence of that. So they don't know anything about MGUS here in Finland. I appreciate the information I can use to prove my susceptibility to infections.
I am still recovering from corona three weeks ago. The first week at schoolwork after summer holidays was nightmare. I was so tired at half time of the day, so when I'm came back home, I only slept and tried to watch the Olympics games, although the Finns didn't get any medals.

I'm 73. I was diagnosed with PMR in March after symptoms started slowly six months earlier, and SMM in May of this year. I started 25mg for the PMR but it never fully relieved my shoulder pain or fatigue. My rheumatologist thinks that I'm having SMM pain, but since my PET scan was clean my hematologist-oncologist doesn't agree. I've been tapering off prednisone since my SMM diagnosis and I'm currently at 6.5mg and waiting for the kevzara approval process to play out. My rheumatologist still thinks that I either have SMM pain or some other undiagnosed disorder. I'm pushing myself to get off prednisone so that my true SMM numbers can be evaluated. Maybe then my hematologist-oncologist will see something that didn't show on prednisone. I'll also push for another bone marrow biopsy. Sometimes doctors only think in terms of classic symptoms. Many of us don't fit in that pigeon hole.

My IgA is 19 and IgM is 26 and my IgG is 1990. My immunoparesis has also been called hypogammaglobunmia. Basically it means no new antibodies and not many of the old ones. I worry about it but have been told there is not much to do right now and I should just do what I did during covid. I haven't had major infections yet but shingles is trying to flare up more and I do get little skin infections that resolve quickly. The T cells and white blood cells seem to be doing their job but I'm skeptical that I'll make it through cold and flu season since I had no response to a pneumonia vaccine.

@kansasjayhawk Can you get a shingles vaccine? Or Valacyclovir? My oncologist put me on the latter after starting me on DarzalexFasPro for SMM. It can bring on shingles. Good luck.

I had the series at the beginning of the year. And I had shingles in June and July.
