Hello @renie4591, Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. You will notice we changed the title of your discussion to better describe your question so members can hopefully see the discussion and share their thoughts and experiences with you. @deborahfrick123 @ellens and @mermaid7272 have discussed taking methotrexate in the "Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) - Introduce yourself and meet others" discussion (https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/rheumatoid-arthritis-ra-introduce-yourself-and-meet-others/?) and may be able to share some information with you.

Did you read some information on methotrexate side effects that concerns you? Have you talked with your doctor or pharmacist about the possibility?
