metastatic spinal cancer

My Dad was just diagnosed with advanced metastatic spinal cancer. It is also in one lung and one kidney. Has anyone else went through this or had a loved one with this? I just would like to know what to expect?

Hi @country64, can you tell me a bit more about your dad's cancer? Is the spine the primary cancer where it started and metasticized to the lungs and kidney? Spinal cord cancer?

Hi I’m Dave and I thought I was done with this after SBRT … Itwas originally lung nodules radiated in 2023. 1st of Aug ‘25 my routine pet/ct showed metastatic cancer in my spine, hips, liver , clavicle, prostrate. Have started chemo & radiation to try to get ahead of it. So lung to metastatic everywhere in my case.

I’m so sorry for what you’ve gone through plus what else you’ve libel to go through. I would like to make a general statement on your dime to send a heartfelt message to you & everyone involved in all of these forums. Y’all are the bravest and most sincere, sharing people that I have ever encountered in my lifetime. I am truly humbled just to be a small part of the whole. Luv ya all! Robert E Wells
