Menopause symptoms occurring 30 years post-hysterectomy

All of a sudden I’m having horrible hot flashes, green meanies (my poor husband), the jitters, the weepies and rampant insomnia as if I were in menopause. I’m taking black cohash twice a day but it really does not help. My insurance denied a prescription for Millivelle, the bone-building patch with a touch of estrogen that my she uses and suggested.
Please, now what?

Hello @dbmenger. I wonder if you'd be willing to share a bit more about what about age you were when you had your hysterotomy versus where you are at now to help members identify with your experience a bit better? Also, have there been any other changes to your health in the last year?
