Menopause after breast cancer

Synopsis diagnosed with d c I s one year ago this Oct. Two surgeries Luckily I was stage zero. Prior to Breast.
Cancer was on hrt for 14 yrs. Now having horrible menopause. They Is only offer you anti depressant much I can't take. Also having bladder infections every 3 Since being taken off h r t. Using vagifem . Hopefully getting preparing vag cream this week . Oncologist approved it. I am so tired of feeling depressed and like crying every day.
Started 5htp thru naturopath for depression. Hopefully kicks in soon. Takes a cple weeks. Have used in the past did help.
Tried anti depressants cannot tolerate. 😪

I’m not sure if it helps, but I haven’t had a UTI since I began taking daily cranberry pills. I’d check with my doctor first though. I don’t know much about meds for depression. Hope you find something that helps.

I’m not sure if it helps, but I haven’t had a UTI since I began taking daily cranberry pills. I’d check with my doctor first though. I don’t know much about meds for depression. Hope you find something that helps.

I have been taking daily cranberry pills called utiva thru my naturopath they have to be ordered from the pharmacist. They are strong

I have no experience with antidepressants, but I have talk therapy for my anxiety. It helps me a lot, along with daily exercise.

My issues are a little more complicated because during my Breast treatment I lost two family members and 2 girlfriends. One being my best friend of 42 yrs who was fighting stage 4 ovarian cancer. I have been in counseling fir a cple mths and starting grief counseling in Jan. Plus having to put my mom in s nursing home

My issues are a little more complicated because during my Breast treatment I lost two family members and 2 girlfriends. One being my best friend of 42 yrs who was fighting stage 4 ovarian cancer. Emotional trauma can have a huge impact on your physical health. That’s for sure. Are you still receiving cancer treatments?
