medpro compressor Nebulizer issue

I am new to Nebulizer. I noticed that there's always some liquid left in the medication cup, it never fully empties. I can see the water dripping into the cup. Is the medication cup supposed to be empty after finishing the treatment?

Some left over is to be expected and quite normal.

I have found that shaking the cup when you are down to the last little bit helps to get it all nebulized.
