Medicines before triple bypass surgery

About 3 weeks ago and 5 weeks before the scheduled Bypass heart surgery they gave me additional medicines. Since then I don’t experience any heart episodes and hence no need for nitrogliceryn. However in addition to some minor side effects, I experience stomach ache and diarrhea. I am wondering if anyone experienced such issues and if so, what did you do?
