Hello @maryknott1, Welcome to Connect. There is another discussion in the Neuropathy Support group on neuropathy and vitamin deficiency that might be helpful to learn what other members have shared.
-- Small Fiber Neuropathy and Vitamin Deficiency: https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/i-have-small-fiber-neuropathy/.
The following research article does mention a connection to neurological disorders with vitamin deficiencies.
-- Effect of Fat-Soluble Vitamins A, D, E and K on Vitamin Status and Metabolic Profile in Patients with Fat Malabsorption with and without Urolithiasis: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC7601514/.
It sounds like you think you may have nerve damage from a vitamin deficiency. Have you been diagnosed with nerve damage or neuropathy?
@johnbishop yes I have been diagnosed with Severe peripheral neuropathy. On EMG reports it is atonal and demyelination, taking Arequipa small dose because Gabapentin and Meripex had side effects. I can’t drive, use a roller walker. Numbness over entire body and no coordination. I have done physical therapy and continue to do balance and therapy daily. The GI doctor said no way to replace all the vitamins. I do try daily

1 Reaction@maryknott1 the Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy has a list of the different vitamins and supplements for nerve health here - https://www.foundationforpn.org/vitamins-and-supplements-for-nerve-health/. It might be helpful to discuss vitamins and supplements with your primary care doctor to see if they have some recommendations.
