Macular Pucker vitrectomy with cataract surgery (combed procedure)
Anyone have a vitrectomy with cataract surgery (i.e., combined procedure) for a macular pucker with mild distortion and mild cataracts. Vision in affected eye is 20/60 mostly due to the macular pucker. How bad was the surgery and did you have to lie face down for a period of time? Most of the distortion is on the top of the pucker , which was identified about 10 years ago, so I don't know if that is good or bad. Very anxious about the surgery.
