1 ReactionMy wife (78) has just been diagnosed with macula schisis in left eye. She is currently seeing a retina specialist who is prescribing monthly shots to determine if the retina will heal, and then choose vitrectomy if unsuccessful. Has anyone tried the shots initially? Also, what was the experience after surgery, as her doctor indicates 3-6 months recovery time.

About 2 months since I noticed blurry vision.
I am scheduled for surgery in about 5 weeks.
Not sure what to expect with improvement after surgery?
Hoping that blurry vision will improve.
