MAC Lung Dissection Recovery

My MAC infection is growing as I can nut tolerate the drug therapy. Surgeon thinks I am a candidate for a lung resection taking out the upper lobe of my left lung via the DaVinci surgical machine. I also have emphysema.
Has anyone had this done and if so, what was the recovery like and how long? Have you had to adjust to a new "normal" and if so, what is it like?
