@pdaddy
It's easy enough to "Google" any 2 or 3 meds to check for interactions. Something your pharmacist SHOULD HAVE DONE if they didn't already know.

1 Reaction@darla1958 Am trying to get onto low dose Naltrexone and hope the doctor will get me off Lyrica. In LDN support group which I am trying to gain as much insight into the drug as I can. Good for you being on LDN as it is a wonder drug and has little side effects.

1 ReactionYes! My Nurse Practitioner gave me a prescription for 150mg of it. I took 2 pills at night before bed. It worked! Then after the prescription ran out, my Primary Doctor tried to lower my dosage to the 75mg pills. They were useless! He would not renew the 150s! Thanks a lot. Eventually, the NP renewed the inital prescrip of 150s. She had no problem with renewing it. Go figure.
@jacksonb1959 any side effects?
@lorkay I've been on the 150s over a year now. No side effects (that I can easily tell, anyway).

1 Reactiontried it with no good results.
Hi, I took Lyrica for a couple days for neuropathy pain in my legs and feet caused by chemo. It helped alleviate the pain so I could sleep. However, I did not take it long term. Months later, my feet are still numb on the bottom but I am able to walk/drive. Please keep in mind that pain meds can make any kidney damage from chemo much worse.
@aloemedra3 I was on gabapentin n the side affects were horrible. Now on lyrica for about 3 weeks n wow the sudden weight gain n all I wantta do is sleep. Wat exactly is this LDN u speak of n does it help with nerve pain?

2 Reactions@dianeguy yes it does help with nerve pain to quote Yoon Hang Kim, MD, MPH - "Low-dose naltrexone (LDN) has emerged as a promising therapeutic option for numerous chronic conditions from fibromyalgia and chronic pain to autoimmune disorders and mast cell activation syndrome."
I suggest you go to the Low Dose Naltrexone Support Group http://www.LDNSupportGroup.org and check them out. If you join you can download the Low-Dose Naltrexone Primer to give you more information.
I wish well on your journey and hope I have been helpful.

1 ReactionI swelled up and it caused memory problems with me. Never again I felf like I was loosing my mind. Highly addictive and they keep raising the dosage. I can’t take it because I have seizures and it causes seizures.
