Lymph nodes

Posted by debra54 @debra54, Feb 3 6:23pm

Large lymph nodes on trachea and main artery. Dr.s suspect mestacic cancer...not sure I spelled that correctly. Anyone go thru this?. My mother is 80 with afib, copd, diabetes, and heart failure. Her lungs keep filling up with fluid.

@debra54 , Not knowing what to expect, and what's the cause can be such a scary time. Lymph nodes can react to all sorts of things, not all of which are cancer. Have you received any additional information? Has she had a PET scan yet?

@debra54 , Debra, I’m so sorry that they couldn’t do more to help her. It sounds like her body had been through so much. I hope you can take comfort in knowing that she’s no longer in pain. Hugs and peace to you and your family.
