Lupus affects the lungs

Posted by dmmeyers62 @dmmeyers62, 1 day ago

Can anyone tell me how their lupus has affected their lungs? I have unexplained nodules on my lungs with cough and my lymph nodes are inflamed. Still going through diagnosis of lupus with a skin biopsy showing lupus and rash on face. Because ANA was negative they said it was normal. I am seeing more Dr's and also did my research ( mayo) and told them a negative doesn't mean I do not have lupus. Also have many symptoms hair loss, sores in nose, joint pain, kidney inflammation and stones, nausea, low grade fevers, cold feet and hands, dry mouth and eyes ect. I have several autommune diseases all ready so hopefully I will get some answers.

I have many of the same symptoms
and problems you have.
I have RA and Sjogren’s Disease which are responsible for my lung involvement, but rheumatologist is also considering lupus.
Don’t think it matters much which diagnosis they use, the treatment seems much the same.
Sjogren’s is apparently responsible for most of my many problems.
There’s a great online site called Smart Patients where I’ve learned most of my information.
