What disorders cause low red blood cells?
Does anyone else have a disorder where your body is killing off your red blood cells? My Drs can't find a reason but for over a yr and half now I have to get blood transfusions weekly or biweekly bc my red blood cells count get so low. I'm always tired and struggle with shortness of breath.

@fabia01 I have gone to pentagon one other time. I think this is a great suggestion. Thankfully I am getting a pension for many other conditions from agent orange. Thankyou for your suggestion. Hwine
@harleewine I understand. I am getting my labs done in 2 days and we’ll see how things are going. I know chlorella helps remove toxicity from the body. I get mine on Amazon called Sun Chlorella
@harleewine There's also thread here for CCUS. (Which is what I think many of us with pancytopenia eventually get diagnosed). May or may not be helpful to you.

1 Reaction@nigel7 Thank you for that info. I will definitely will look up CCUS and see how it fits in my situation. The VA will not admit that my blood disorders were caused by AG. Until a few years ago, I gave blood every 8 weeks, B neg.

1 ReactionT cell LGL?
You can have normal B12 in your blood but your cells might be able to use it. I have low red blood cells maybe from hypothyroidism (although I test negetative for Hashimotos) so I am trying sublingual B12 under the tongue which goes directly to the cells as it bypasses your gut. Just bought the book IBS to investigate gut issues. My B cell MGUS number have dropped from .9 to .68 after changing my diet to include intermittent fasting (6 pm-10 am), organic everything, medium roast coffee with 1 tb cacao powder, 1 tb collagen, 1 tsp creatine, and a daily 16 of warm water w/Himalayan salt before coffee, and 16 oz green drink of infused nettle tea, spirulina, chorella. Morfina, marcha tea, with squeezed freshnmyer lemon, dark leach salads, nuts, salmon, beans, hummus, grapefruit…..

Oh, I also take fermented iron, zinc, and a Brazil nut for selenium and magnesium, melatonin, and Phosphatidylserine to control cortisol at night.
