Low Platelets: Anyone else go through this?

I have the same problem. Also my potasium and calcium levels are so low that they have to iv me. Takes about 4 hrs to administer. I also am having alot of adema in my legs they are trying to get under control. My calves het so big i can only wear shorts and my feet split open.

Are they giving him the NPlate shots? They give them to my husband if platelets under 125 but have treated him as low as 50’s

My platelets were a struggle during fulfurinox. When under 10 I had infusions.

This problem arose again with Gemzar. I bought 70-80% dark chocolate and had some every evening after the second treatment was denied. My platelets jumped! I continued to do this daily and have had no more cancelled treatments.
My platelets were at a high of 477 and now hang in the 300s.

Wow, this is the first time I heard that one. Glad it's working for you. I think the best I'll be able to do with my husband is chocolate ice cream.
