Looking for urogynecologist in or near Springfield, Missouri

My urologist is referring me to an urogynecologist in Columbia, MO. This would be a 3 hr drive for me. He told me that he did not know what else to do for my bladder pain. I have been seeing him for the past 3 months. He did not think it is IC. (I am careful about eating anything that might irritate my bladder, just in case he is wrong) I took 2 rounds of antibiotics in the last 30 days due to bacteria showing up on cultures. I asked for another culture, thinking I still have UTI, but he made the referral instead. My bladder pain is so intense, that it causes anxiety attacks daily. My heart is constantly racing. This is scary. I have been to ER 2x in past month. They did a CT scan and bladder ultrasound . They did not find any reason for the pain. I went to the gynecologist . She did a basic pelvic exam and prescribed vaginal estradiol for dryness. She made a referral for a colonoscopy just in case the pain to coming from the colon. I don't think it is. The appointment is in 2 months.
I was prescribed nortriptyline 50 mg for depression, anxiety, and bladder pain. I have been taking it for 3 weeks with no relief. I read that it can take 4-6 weeks or longer. Ambien for sleep. which gives me 2-3 hrs sleep. Prescribed vaginal suppositories ( 10 mg Valium) 3x daily. They provide no help. I quit because of the stinging. I was referred to PT, which starts next week. I have been walking 30 min every morning at sunrise, hoping this would help. I am praying for some relief soon. This is all very frustrating, not knowing why I hurt so bad and that I have lost my appetite and not getting but a few hours of sleep.
My psychologist told me to go to therapy for possible past trauma stressing me, causing the pain. I don't remember any trauma. I think that the pain is making causing the anxiety, making the pain worse. I have therapy appointment this week.
I am determined to find out what is causing the pain. I have learned that pain medications do not help with nerve pain. ( Such as Tylenol , opioids or narcotics. I can not take ibuprofen due to my kidney disease)
Thanks for reading my post.

Hi, Marlene, I came across you post and wondered if you have ever gotten to the bottom your pain. I am in the Springfield Mo area and dealing with the same thing and can’t find anyone to help me.
