Looking for others born with hearing loss
I am looking to connect with others like me who were born with severe to profound hearing loss, wear hearing aids, do not know sign language, and were mainstreamed, but still have a lot of challenges. Are you out there?

I read that my CI should not go through X-ray machines. I am thinking about the spare one while traveling.

1 ReactionI know I'm a little late to this thread. I was born with severe to profound hearing loss as well. It's hereditary. I've worn hearing aids all my life. I've graduated from College and have a successful career. It has not been easy and hearing fatigue is real. I've come up with several coping mechanisms along the way. I'm here if you ever want to share experiences.
