Long Covid Ear fullness pressure anyone else ??

Posted by jostrowski74 @jostrowski74, Oct 1, 2025

Hi I’ve had this ear fullness and pressure for 10 months now and it’s not going away I’ve seen multiple drs ENT drs and all are confused. I have one ENT who is nice and trying everything to help me . Steroids help a little that’s why I’m thinking Covid inflammation but it never goes away. Anyone else have any luck getting better with this Covid issue ?
Thanks
Jeralyn

SAME. I had covid over Christmas of 2023. My ears were badly inflammed during the illness. My left ear has never been the same. The pressure pulsates, always feels plugged. I can hear my breathing, chewing, and it sounds like a speaker going in and out. It's awful. I can't sing anymore. Been to two ENT's. Had a hearing test, CT, and cameras shoved up my nose into the tubes. And no one has any clue what is going on. I just want it to stop!

@beefyl29 I have the same. They gave me steroids which didn’t help. I was told it’s the Eustachian tube and to use Flonase. And that was that. No one seems to care about anything Covid related. I have no taste / smell over 4 years.

I get relief with a tool for dealing with ear pressure.
It’s called ZOK Ear Pressure Relief. Very helpful with headaches too. Soft silicone.
Stimulates key cranial nerves that adjust the pressure.
It feels good.
$20.00max. Sales$16.00.

@robbie81 I bought something similar on Amazon. It’s like a section they use to clear babies noses. It works well it just doesn’t last long.

I follow Dr Mandell on YouTube. I use his (surprisingly simple, non invasive) techniques for ear fullness, crackling, Eustachian tube issues, etc… sometimes very helpful. Don’t give up if it doesn’t clear up first time.

Ear fullness since June '22 post-covid. I've been scanned, scoped, vitamin(ed), examined by 8-10 providers. My pressure is exacerbated by any small weather changes (barometric) and it takes days or weeks for my head to go from a 7-8 pressure back down to an annoying 3-4. It just NEVER goes away. Plus the lovely headaches that I have almost daily - right between the eyebrows. Going for a neural/nerve block for those soon. I'm open to any advice from the board. I'm exhausted...
