Local meetings

Does anybody know of in person meetings for people with auto immune issues? Healthy people don't seem to comprehend bad days and what all is required to function. Would really like to make friends with people who understand and can learn from each other.

Interested in more discussions like this? Go to the Autoimmune Diseases Support Group.

Welcome @cnf, I don't know of any local support groups for autoimmune issues but the Autoimmune Association has a page with information on how to start one of your own.

I see that you also recently posted in the Vertigo discussion so hopefully you can connect with others in the discussion online and learn from each other. I'm sure you have a lot of questions and I was thinking it might be helpful for you to do a search of Connect on different symptoms that you are having difficulty managing, you just need to click in the search box at the top of any Connect page or click the small search icon.

Local hospitals usually have support groups. If you contact yours, they may have one or they may be able to gauge local interest.
