Hi Caleb @highdesertdweller, I do have varicose veins but so far they haven't caused me any trouble. Worse for me is the lymphedema in my legs which is treated with compressions socks. You might want to scan through the search results to read what others have shared about varicose veins - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/search/?search=varicose+veins+.
Thanks again, Joh
Thanks, John. I don't have varicose veins. I was wondering if anyone has ever done ablasion for neuropathy. There is a small study that one can find on the internet where it seemed to have amazing crossover results in alleviating, and even ridding people of their neuropathy issues. Caleb
Hi Caleb @highdesertdweller, I've heard of it to relieve pain but don't think it ever gets rid of neuropathy. There are a couple of other discussions on the topic:

I am a 75 year old woman who developed neuropathy 3 years ago. I have been on a cancer inhibitor, exestamine for breast cancer. I started the drug about 6 years ago. I have quit the drug- 2 months ago as it may have contributed to my neuropathy. I do not have pain- only numbness, discomfort and balance issues- all in my feet- no hand problem. I have had an mri for my low back which came back inconclusive. I am exercising for the balance issue. Any help would be appreciated.
Welcome @bonb1949, Sorry to hear that you developed neuropathy from your cancer treatment. I have only the numbness from my idiopathic small fiber peripheral neuropathy in my legs and feet. Balance is also a problem for me and it's good to hear you are exercising to help with your balance. You might find these related discussions helpful:

I’m sorry I wasn’t clear. I did not have chemo just radiation. But I’m wondering if the exestamine I took afterwards for 6 years might be the cause of my numb feet and ankles. Thoughts?
Sorry @bonb1949, I think I just missed it. I'm guessing you meant Exemestane (brand name Aromasin) and not Exestamine. Here's a list of discussions and comments by members who have mentioned "Exemestane and neuropathy" - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/search/?search=exemestane+and+neuropathy
There is a discussion on the side effects of the drug that you might want to see what others have said.

Has anyone tried Vitamin B 12? prescribed on FOX from Dr. Barbara O'Neil? Is it a scam? I have such burning in my right foot. I've used Gabapetin (side effects make me muddled) and Capsasion (in the summer it burns my feet if I wear flip flops). Tired of burning in the day with Capsasion, but not at night???? Appreciate any comments.
Hi all, thank you for letting me join your group. I have peripheral neuropathy in my hands and feet, causing considerable discomfort. I am on a very high dose of Gabapentin, and this is helping slightly. I've been told about and also researched red light therapy. Has anyone got any information/experience with this, good or bad? As I'm writing this, I'm struggling with my hands, so please excuse the short message.
Thanks Mark
