Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect, @billale2. I believe you're saying that you've had many blood tests and now all of a sudden you learn you have hepatitis?

According to this information by Mayo Clinic, blood tests plus a number of other factors are considered for a diagnosis of hepatitis.

- Hepatitis B https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/hepatitis-b/diagnosis-treatment/drc-20366821

Would any of the factors in addition to blood tests be applicable in your case? Are there other screening tests that have been done lately? If so, which one or ones?

How do I slow it down from getting worse?

Hi, @cheyjanay - Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. I believe you are saying you also have a diagnosis of hepatitis? If so, what type of hepatitis do you have? What symptoms have been the most challenging for you thus far?

Hepatitis B and the only symptom I seem to have at the moment is upset stomach and floating. What do you recommend?

I got to see the gastroenterologist/hepatologist and they had me do a ton of blood work and a fibroscan to see my liver. It came back that I have hepatitis A and have had hepatitis B antibodies but have never received the vaccine. My fibroscan showed that I have stage 2 liver fibrosis. We are waiting for another CT scan and esophagogastroduodenoscopy with gastric and duodenum biopsies. The hardest part is definitely boating and also finding root cause of liver if not for the hepatitis

Hi @cheyjanay. I wonder would you happen to know if there are medicines available to help with this disease?
