Liver Directed Therapy - Y-90 or Chemoembolization
I am quite a rare case here with S4 PACC with a tail mass with RET positive genetic indication and mets liver. I have had a very good response to Retevmo/Selpercatinib. 50% reduction in diameter of all tumors (~80% reduction by volume). Happy with this result though the shrinking has slowed and/or stopped. The order of priority is to manage the lesions in the liver first and then go after the tumor on the tail.
I am reaching out to see if anyone has had either Y-90 or Chemoembolization procedures? I would love to hear your experience as this is thought to be my next step. (Even with the reductions my liver tumors are still too large and numerous for Histotripsy. )
Thank you!
