Live cirrohsis ascites

My father has Cld ,portal hyptension.he also has mysthaneia gravis and dm2.presently he has ascites got admitted for 7 days they took 1.8 lt of fluid in 5 days .fluid was having SBP infection.they gave antibiotic Magnex for 7 days and discharge on oral antibiotics.started Dytor plus 5 ,zifi 200,rifagut 550,noruda 500.weight is constant but stomach is till bloated .LFT IS NORMAL
1) is the TREATMENT CORRECT?
2) MMF 500 of Mysthaneia should be continued in infection?

Are you considering taking him back to the hospital? Or calling his hepatologist for some guidance on what to expect?

@lisalucier presently he is stable at home and maintaining 2g salt diet whole day and fluid management of 2litre.weight is stable but the stomach bloating is not yet completely normal.can you suggest a good hepatologist who can give video consultation

My father-in-law who had neuroendocrine cancer - different diagnosis and situation - had terrible trouble with ascites. I remember this distinctly and can empathize.

How is his stomach bloating looking today? Any different at all?

@lisalucier bloating in constant after pct.weight is maintained.i am from India and mayo clinic do not provide video consultation to international patients
