Hello @lynnj3 there is a mouthwash I used when I would get them inside my lips and it would smooth them and treat them. If they are on the outside, I am not sure if it would work, but I bet there is something in the pipeline for this.
Are they Lon the inside or the outside of your mouth? Have you talked to your doctor or honestly even better, your oncology nurse?

They are on the outside like a cold sore and they just started so yess I’ll send a msg to my oncology nurse
I was septic and was in the hospital 3 days last week unknown source of infection, chemo on hold for a couple weeks to let my body rest. Don’t think I’ve ever been so sick in my life , glad for the break.

Wow, I am so sorry you had to go through that, like breast cancer wasn’t really enough. I am glad you are on the mend, these blisters may be a part of all of that.
Will you come back and let me know what you find out?

Hello, so sorry to hear about all you are dealing with! I had pretty severe chemo sores in my mouth, gums and throat. Was using Dexamethezone Elizor (mouth rinse) and Magic Mouthwash. Was making it more bearable but not going away.

Nurse and oncologist said “yes unfortunately that happens with chemo” and the only option they gave me was to reduce the chemo dose which I did not want to do.

After doing some research on my own, I found a topical gel that can go inside the mouth or on the lips. It froze the area and took away the pain for several hours and within a week healed some Of The worst sores for the first time in months.

I shared that with my oncology team, and now they are telling all the other patients in chemo, who are saying it’s been a lifesaver for them.

It is called Zilactin B and is available at the pharmacy here in Montreal where the ointments are for cold sores and teething but this is not for cold sores.

Maybe it can help you, was a game Changer for me and many other chemo patients! Keep us posted and good luck!
